Tuesday July 2nd @ the Make It Up Club

This Tuesday at MIUC is a deliciously mixed bag of auditory treats to fatten up your consciousness and give you an incorporeal sugar rush, all whilst ravaging your ears and mildly vibrating your anatomy. Sooterkin Flesh returns to our stage after annihilating encephala, basilar membranes and an ironing board three months ago, this time in solo mode with industrial prime mover Troy Norfolk handling all clamourous pandemoniac duties. Adam McFillin and Sasha Margolis sift through sonic waste and discarded technology discarded roadside by a global culture speeding too fast into the future, drawing out rhythm, momentum and melancholic static. And Scissorman, the new collaboration between percussionist Callum Moncrieff and multi-instrumentalist Christopher de Groot, filter their absurdist musical worldview through post-minimalism to engineer and construct spontaneous textural soundscapes.
