This week at MIUC we showcase one of the most diverse and astute minds in forward-thinking brutal music, the bestial luminary Mat Blackwell,
before he retreats to rural misanthropy once again for an indeterminate
period of temporal magnitude. Merge Into Stripes sees Blackwell invoke
magnetikoccultik analog sourced chaos, transmogrified to Lovecraftian
sub-cacophony with the electronic hex prowess of Bendy Hack. Haark sees
the Demon flying solo, spreading the pestilence of tumultuous blackened
digital speedcore, hacking pathways between the method, validity and
scope of sadistic aleatoric atrocities. And Gnaumgn decimate the very
fabric of sound itself with their truculent guitar incursion and hellish
crossfire on wooden coffins. You've been warned.
