This week at MIUC features a cavalcade of industrial-strength noise
bruitistes keen on inflicting frequency punishment whilst simultaneously
promulgating textural wisdom. For their first public performance since
1995, Sooterkin Flesh will revive the volatile beast
that is their aethereal industrial experimental dark isolationist noise
ambience on the advent of their 25th year since inception - skulls will
collapse. Christopher LG Hill's Porpoise Torture is
exactly as the name implies: the sonic extract of Atlantean horror,
murky sub-surface din, suffocatingly drenched power electronics, red
mist at full saturation. And sax pest Lloyd Honeybrook
makes a rare solo appearance to commit some saxual abuse in public,
filtering the acoustic architecture of the space and general sonic
revulsion through the chamber of his feedback-extirpated woodwind-death
knell.
