Next up at MIUC we focus on sonic abstraction utilising density-variation from analogue sources. The 13th annual Liquid Architecture
festival of sound arts is upon us again, and thanks to LA, we have one
of their featured artists, visionary Berlin-based improviser and sound
sculptor Werner Dafeldecker, performing in collaboration with Melbourne’s Sean Baxter. Death By Cones,
a monstrous quartet exploring the physical limits of the speaker cone,
featuring four experts in the field of brutal noise. And, a duo of
sublime, psychoacoustic energy featuring Rodney J Cooper and Leith Thomas, employing 2 of Cooper’s hand-made creations.
