Adelaide's KAHLO performs a live soundtrack to the original THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME

Vocalist and percussionist of The Bumblebeez and the Sonar Radars, Kahlo, also works as a sound artist and composer, recently completing an Honours BA in Sound Installation.
Kahlo tours Australia extensively with the aformentioned acts as well as composing and performing live music to silent film classics. Previous live score performances have accompanied screenings at the Adelaide Film Festival and Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI), as well as regional centres.
As part of Mercury Cinema’s Silent Remasters 2011, Kahlo debuted his full length score to Wallace Worseley’s original silent film, “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”, a modern soundtrack and a winner.
As part of a larger proposed tour of cinematic venues in 2012, Kahlo will be performing his score live to this classic film work, melding electronic noise and an experimental computer-generated score.
