Our first concert for the year features two adventurous improvisers from New York alongside some of our favourite young Melbourne performers. Ben Vida, an emerging master of psychoacoustic sound art, makes his solo debut in Melbourne. Post-everything drummer Brian Chase (perhaps best known for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs) returns to Melbourne and continues a collaborative partnership with local noise-jazz agitators, Lloyd Honeybrook and Nic Tammens. And the mesmerising and rarefied sonic deconstructions of Rosalind Hall.
