Tuesday November 29th @ the Make It Up Club

Three diverse and equally innovative collaborations this week. Stephen Richards (the genius behind the mixing desk at the MIUC every week) performs with his recently scratch-built modular, analogue synthesiser alongside the sublime extended cello practice of Golden Fur's Judy Hamann. US metal and hardcore guitar shredder, Theorn Campbell has convened a trio of abstracted and broken-beat digital grind improv for his debut performance. And, fresh from Berlin-via-the-Goldcoast, the incomparable master of avant-improv plunderphonics, Scott Sinclair, is joined by free-sax-noise firebrand, Lloyd Honeybrook.

  • Stephen Richards (synth) and Judith Hamann (cello)
  • Theorn Campbell (guitar with signal processor and halfstack, laptop and keyboard), Caitlin McKimm (v-drums) and Eliot McTavish (keyboard and drum machine)
  • Lloyd Honeybrook (alto sax and good haircut) and Scott Sinclair (electronics and bad haircut)
