This week, another installment of our occasional series where we feature multiple sets by a distinctive improviser in differing contexts. Cor Fuhler is one of the innovators of the post-70s free improv scene in Holland. From prepared-piano and inside-piano, to guitar, electronics and an array of unusual instruments in between, Fuhler creates unique and dynamic musical worlds, where detail and precision coexist with grit and power. Currently residing in Melbourne, he has devised a program in collaboration with some of the cities most adventurous improvisers in 3 very different sets.• Cor Fuhler (guitar), Robbie Avenaim (percussion) and Bonnie Hart (bass)
