Tuesday October 26th @ the Make It Up Club

The Australian free improvisation tradition would be a poorer place without David Tolley, one of the motivating forces behind the MIUC, and a mentor of great stature for so many radical musicians from the last century. This week, the MIUC is honoured to welcome him back to performance duties, and with a legendary group, no less. The ReMOVALISTS feature some of Melbourne's most dedicated exploratory improvisers who have been refining their craft and inspiring the rest of us for decades. Adam Simmons needs no introduction, as one of the many masters of woodwinds in all their complex variation. And further masters in Chris Young and Tom Fryer, in a very rare duo performance.

The ReMOVALISTS, featuring: Tony Hicks (reeds), Ren Walters (guitar), David Tolley (electronics) and Ted Vining (drumkit)

Adam Simmons (solo reeds)

Christopher Young (reeds) and Tom Fryer (guitar)
