Tuesday September 14th @ the Make It Up Club

This week, Perth-based avant-pop-drone specialist, Greg Taw performs a set of recently extrapolated improvisational systems designed to meld familiar tones into an estranged amalgam frequency beating. Circuit bender extraordinaire, Dale Chapman performs a rare solo of fragmented sonorities using instruments old and new, hacked and pristine. And three of Melbourne's most adventurous musicians from the local avant garde classical milieu, present a set of improvisations focusing on the acoustic timbres of their respective instruments.

Greg Taw (guitar, electronics and processed vocals)

Dale Chapman (homemade electronics and indian banjo)

Alex Garsden (guitar), Matthias Schack-Arnott (percussion) and Simon Charles (saxophone)
