On Tuesday night Adam Nash and I will play music on a virtual island while physically located at the fabulous bar/venue Horse Bazaar.
Adam has created a series of virtual sound-sculptures called Seventeen Unsung Songs. We'll log into Second Life and move our avatars around the island, playing the sculptures and projecting our view of SL onto the walls of the bar and into the PA.
We're interested in questions like:
* Is this show located in the virtual world, the real world, or both ?
* Is live performance about sound and vision only or does it involve other factors as well?
